GLOWA JR Status Conference 10
The Status Conference 2010 “Towards Successful Application” was held from July 11th until July 13th at Mövenpick Resort Petra, Jordan. The aim of the conference was to plan the last year of the project towards successful application of the project results and to present and discuss with stakeholders of the region the products of GLOWA JR. These products where presented in form of indicators, each one in an A4-sheet.

Scientific Input Meetings 10
Four Scientific Input Meetings in 2010! The first three took place in Amman on January 17th, in Ramallah on January 19th, and in Tel Aviv on January 20th. The fourth meeting is going to take place in Kassel, Germany, March 29th to 30th. The aim of these meetings is to discuss and develop within the GLOWA JR team ways to transmit the scientific results of the project to stakeholders, decision makers and experts in a usefull way.
GLOWA JR Kick off Meeting 09
The Kick off Meeting of phase III took place in Schmitten, near Frankfurt, Germany, from 05–07 July 2009. All documents are avilable here.
WEAP Training 09
From 20 May 2009 to 11 June 2009 a WEAP training was held in the Ministry of Water and Irrigation (MWI), Amman, by Dr. Abbas Al-Omari, ATEEC. The topics of the training were: 1) integration of WEAP into the National Water Master Plan, 2) national WEAP, 3) interpretation of results, 4) building scenarios. Different persons from MWI took part in the training.
4th Scenario Panel Meeting 09
The 4th GLOWA JR Scenario Panel Meeting was devided into three parts, one in Jordan, one in Palestine and one in Israel.
The Jordanian part of the meeting took place on June 20th 2009 in Amman. The Workshop title was “New Water Management Strategies to Cope with Climate Change in the Jordan River Region”
The Palestinan part of the meeting took place in June 22nd 2009 in Ramallah.
The Isreali part of the meeting took place on June 24th 2009 in Tel Aviv.

The third GLOWA Jordan River Status Conference of phase II and the joint meeting with SMART took place in Aqaba, Jordan, from 25–28 June 2008.
